Updates on optimization
The visual editor has been up and running, after a glitch in the uploading process. Optimizing the Classifieds for speed by reducing the image sizes of the thumbnails has been done, and we have decided on not to do an on-the-fly resizing of images. We had switched off the adRanking for the meantime.
The Thumbnail images per ad per user feature of Classifieds has been implemented, as well as the reconfiguration of mcFileManager to assure that no mixing of files and folders are made. Images to be uploaded as representative pictures are restricted to 320px width and are automatically resized to 65px width. Images which will be part of the ads are restricted to 40Kb file size.
